N.J. STATE HIGH POWER RIFLE 300 YD
CHAMPIONSHIP – September 28th, 2008
| COMPETITION: | NRA REGISTERED 800 aggregate NMC competition, open to the Public. |

| CLASSIFICATION: | NRA classification card or temporary score book available during the sign in period. | |
| RULES: | Current NRA HIGH POWER RIFLE RULES will govern. | |
| RIFLE: | NRA SERVICE RIFLE (rules 3.1, 3.1.1, and 3.1.2), MATCH RIFLE (rule 3.3) or OPTICAL MATCH RIFLE (rule 3.3.4 not eligible for classification or for Championship) or as amended by the NRA | |
| CATEGORIES: | SERVICE RIFLE & MATCH RIFLE: A minimum of 5 shooters to form a class/category. Classes and/or Categories will be combined if there are insufficient shooters. This State Championship combines both service and match rifles. | |
| AWARDS: | The NJ State Champion will be the NJ Association member & NJ resident firing the highest aggregate in match #5, from the 300 yd line. The State Champion will receive medals from both Central Jersey R & P Club & the NJ Association, plus other awards. All class Champions will also be awarded medals from Central Jersey R & P Club. Individual match winners within all classes will receive awards as well as the high overall out of state winner. NO CASH AWARDS! Class Winner award will be given for the highest aggregate in each match. Place awards will be given in each class/category with a minimum of 5 shooters. | ENTRIES: | $25.00 Entry Fee for the REGISTERED State Championships. | |
| CHECK IN: | All shooters are required to check in at the STAT OFFICE for squadding. Those shooters not checked in by 0745 will be squadded in any available openings until the last relay is called up. | |
| SQUADDING: | At STAT OFFICE commencing 0715, match setup work parties have 1st priority. | |

| Match #1 | SR target, 200 yds. slowfire, 20 shots for record standing, time limit - 20 minutes. |
|
| Match #2 | SR-C target, 200 yds. rapidfire - two 10 shot strings for record sitting or kneeling from standing, time limit - 60 seconds per string. | |
| Match #3 | *SR-3 target, 300 yds. rapidfire - two 10 shot strings for record prone from standing, time limit - 70 seconds per string. |

| Match #4 | *MR-63 target, 300 yds. slowfire, 20 shots for record prone, time limit - 20 minutes. |

*** LOANER EQUIPMENT *** (including rifles) WILL BE AVAILABLE ON A REGULAR BASIS AT ALL MATCHES FOR BOTH THOSE WITHOUT OR ANYONE WISHING TO TRY SOMETHING NEW.
